After 10 years in the fitness industry as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer I decided in 1997 to get certified in Hypnotherapy. For years I studied different ways to help myself and clients lose weight and get motivated to exercise. I was truly amazed at the results when I began to use hypnosis to lose those last nagging pounds. Hypnosis was the answer I has been seeking. I felt and witnessed others end the struggle and finally make the connection between mind, body and spirit. I am grateful to have witnessed so many clients use Hypnotherapy to take back their power and to heal.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a natural form of alternative care. In a relaxed state of mind the client can rediscover and utilize their mind’s greatest potential to improve overall health and to correct any imbalances that exist in the mind, body or spirit.

Q. What is Hypnosis?
A. Hypnosis is a state of physical and mental relaxation. When your mind relaxes, you are responsive to positive and beneficial messages that can be accepted by the subconscious mind, replacing negative messages.
Q. Has Hypnosis been approved by the medical community?
A. Yes, in 1958 the AMA approved the use of hypnosis
Q. How does Hypnosis work?
A. In a deep state of relaxation the body quiets and the mind relaxes (conscious mind). With its defenses down, the subconscious mind is open to positive suggestions. These suggestions are the tools that help the client or patient achieve their goals.
Think of your subconscious mind as your secret garden. Many old habits have taken root in the subconscious. As you communicate to your inner mind you pull the weeds and plant new seeds of something better in their place. When you work solely at the conscious level to get rid of a habit it’s like trying to weed a lawn of dandelions by skimming off the tops. The roots remain intact, locked in the earth and before one knows it, the weed is sprouting again.

I highly recommend that you do three sessions for Hypnosis to maximize your success. If you choose to do one that is fine too and you can always make a decision after the first session to book your other two. The first session is an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half and the cost is $195. If you book three sessions the cost is $495 and the second and third session are about an hour long. The first and second session are scheduled a week a part and the third is 2 weeks after that. I will also give you a Hypnosis for Weight Loss CD to go home with after your first session. Sessions take place in person or through Skype.
